There are 807 miles of trails to enjoy.  From Coronado National Memorial in the Huachuca Mountains to the Coronado National Forest, on to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park, the Tonto National Forest area, Mormon Lake, around Flagstaff in the  Kaibab National Forest area, and finally up to Jacob Lake you will find the wonders of the state just waiting for you to see. Show Low received its name when C. E. Cooley and Marion Clark decided there wasn’t enough room in the settlement for both of them.  How do you settle this dispute?  You go to the cards!  The two men agreed to let a game of cards decide who was to move.  According to the story, Clark said, "if you can show low, you win."  Cooley turned up the duce of clubs and replied, "Show Low it is."

The community is surrounded by lakes and streams for fishing, the largest stand of Ponderosa Pine in the US.  The elevation is 6,412 ft.

It is conveniently located near the ski slopes, Hon-Dah and the communities of Lakeside and Pinetop.

Sanguinetti House Museum - Yuma, Arizona

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places the Sanguinetti House Museum was constructed in the 1870’s, and was purchased in 1890 by pioneer merchant E.F. Sanguinetti.  He added to the home as his family grew and created an Italian oasis with a garden and bird aviaries, which are maintained today. Read more
