Duane, that happens to us a lot. Someone will get a great photo and forget to send it in! The good news is, as the tour guides, we usually get a peek at it the night it's taken. That's one of the best parts of our job! I hope, someday, the little girl finds your contact info and surprises you with the pic! :)

Linda, I've been coming to the tours for a few years now. Maybe you were my guide I'm not sure. I have seen so many things everytime I stay there and go there. Legitamate things. There was a little girl that took the most incredible picture I've ever seen. I asked her to send me a copy of it and I would pay her but she never did. I've been involved in stuff like this for many years. I'm not an expert or anything like that, just grew up with a family here in phoenix that this kind of stuff made San Carlos look like a daycare. I'm on the waiting list for this years tour times. Hope to see you there. Duane

Sarah, I have seen the most remarkable picture a little girl took in the elevator. It looked like a huge puff of cigerette smoke had been blown into the air, very thick. In the smoke you could make out every detail of a woman. Eyes, eyebrows, lashes, everything. I have never seen such a good picture of something like that. I even went into the elevator and started firing off my camera to see what kind of flash back there was and see if it might have just been a reflecting. Nothing reflective at all. I believe in these things and I believe it was very real. To be honest I ALWAYS look for the obvious to rule out pharanormal. This was Pharanormal. I wanted to ask you if you would send me one of the best pics you can see the woman in. I'm thinking it may be the same woman and it may have been Leone Jenson. if you would my email address is dpo915@yahoo.com. Anyone else reading this that might have a good pic to share from the San Carlos or anywhere else I'd be greatly interested. Thank you. Duane
PS- I have seen numerous things happen everytime I go there or stay there.

I am all for mining I grew up in the mines, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and AZ. I had a sister that worked in Miami AZ know I have a daughter working in Globe, AZ. I have lived at the mine sites and we always had money and food on the table, I had a good childhood and a good life. Go for it. The mines do a lot for the country, I was just in Cripple Creek, Colo and you should see what they are doing.

I was downtown just walking around looking around for a hotel to celebrate and as soon as I seen the San carlos I had to stay there. SO we have chosen and made the reservations. As i started resreaching it to find out more of what our stay will be like. I found all these reports and stuff about it bein haunted which is totally exciting and just makes me want to stay there even more. So I am going this weekend and I will take tons of pics and document everything!!!!! I will write on here about my experince and see if it really does hold up to all the hype!!!!!!

I'm a big supporter of mining. How quickly we forget the economic impact that it has had on second and third generation mining families and the state of Arizona. I have been in construction and mining since 1972, and still in industry at age 65; maybe one day i'll retire and go back to prospecting like i used to when i was 15 and 16 while working for my history teacher ,Mr. Boykin.

I had occasion to visit you western theme park today. My freind and I had the greatest time of our lives and enjoyed the entertainment immensely. I thought this little messge might be noteworthy and maybe brought to the attention of your actors and actresses who did such a splendid job They were all multi-talented and we couldn't have asked for a better day of entertainment than what was provided. One particular actor, I believe his name was Travis, played so many different roles its a wonder that he could remember his lines. From the time we entered your park until we left, your staff offered us every courtesy imaginable which made this such a great day. Thank you.

How far are you located from San Zavier delBac Mission? Was wondering if we could go to the mission and tour the mine all in the same day - we would be coming from Apache Junction.
Thank you.

I took my first trip to Out Of Africa on Tuesday, January11,2010. Our group included myself, my 25 year old son, my 27 year old son and his girlfriend and their 5 kids (all between the ages of 7 and 4!) We spent 7 and 1/2 hours in that fantastic park and NOT ONCE did any of us get bored - not even the 5 hyper active kids! The Tiger Splash show was really great and my 5 year old grand daughter got to feed a lioness, she was so thrilled! They all loved the Giant Snake show and the Safari tour was so much fun. Our tour guide, Courtney, was really funny and very informative. We fed a giraffe a carrot and the kids fed a "cookie" to the camel. This is the best park I've ever been to and far surpasses anything I've seen called a zoo. Every person who worked there was friendly and they would stop to answer any questions we had and took the time to make sure we had all the answers we wanted. I was extremely impressed with how much they all cared about the animals there. The animals are more than just exhibits, they are their friends. Where else do you see a worker jump into the lions' habitat just to scratch the lions ears? A caretaker named Miles also jumped into Boom Boom the White Rhinos' habitat just to coax him out of his "house" (he bribed him with a back scratching!) just so my son could get a good photo! I can't say enough good things about Out Of Africa and the wonderful staff there. The cost may seem a little high, but IT'S WELL WORTH IT! Besides, they are a privately owned and funded park (no government monies) so what you pay goes to keep the animals cared for and the park running for everyone to enjoy. If you are able, please make a donation in the gift shop as well.

Our family had such a fun time at this ranch. Our favorite activities were the animal feedings...especially the Larakeets that landed all over you, and then the Monster Truck tour of the ranch that concluded with "Ostrich Fishing".
What a fun place to be and Dana made it so entertaining. Great for all ages!

Rosemont is continuing with the mine tours. You can find all the information by going to www.arizonabeautiful.com/Tucson-southern and clicking on the Rosemont ad, it will take you directly to where you need to go to set up a tour. It’s well worth your time, thanks for asking!

Are you still giving tours of the mine site? Where can I learn about them.

Live here in Tucson and feel mine will probably add to economy of S.Arizona. Trying to learn where roadblocks to approval exist. Any recent summary of next steps to get mine approval? RS Hait

We went by in the winter on our way to the Grand Canyon. We stopped and had a great breakfast in the diner in front of a roaring fire. It was all decorated for Christmas and was pretty because of it. We didn't pay to go in the back as it seemed a little to much for what we figured it was. I think if the entrance fee to get into see the back were a little more reasonable they might see a lot more business. Definitely a cute "Big Ball of Yarn" moment that is worth at least stopping for a 5 cent cup of coffee to see!
