Red Rock Fantasy – Sedona, Arizona
Light up the world for the holidays is something that Sedona could really claim with their wonderful display of community working together to bring joy and beauty to the area with the Red Rock Fantasy. The holiday light festival features more than one million lights blwoing in over 30 displays created by families from the Southwest.
Although this is a competition for the families that enter, the benefits of the festival are truly widespread. The proceeds that are raised through the event are dedicated to different local charities to help foster a better environment for the area.
And, each year, Los Abrigados hosts approximately 100 children from the Phoenix Boys & Girls Club for a fun overnight that includes a visit from Santa.
The visitors walk through the exhibits and vote for their favorite. The festival is open each evening between 5 and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday and between 5 and 9 Sunday through Thursday.
There are children activities, concerts and carriage rides along with the displays.
The fesitval is held the last part of November through the first of the new year so make your plans to attend and witness the lights of the season.
Ticket prices are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for children 4-12 years of age and under 4 are free.
