Visit the over 300 hands on exhibits located in 5 galleries at the science center.  Spend a wonderful adventure in the newly rennovated Dorrance Planitarium.  The new planitarium will be the first Science Center in the world to have a state-of-the-art NanoSeam dome! With this cutting-edge technology, we can create, customize and present shows that not only reflect astronomy topics, but also new exhibits, feature exhibitions and much more.

The IMAX theater presents a wide variety of  shows to enthrall you  so be sure to check it out.

Arizona Science Center is located on the northwest corner of Washington and 7th Streets in Heritage and Science Park. The street address is 600 E Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004.

  • From the East Valley- Take I-10 West to the 7th Street Exit. Turn left to Washington Street.
  • From the West Valley- Take I-10 East to the 7th Street Exit. Turn right to Washington Street.

Parking is discounted with validation at the Heritage and Science Park garage located on the southeast corner of Monroe and 5th streets. Please bring your parking ticket to the Information Desk for validation. Parking for high profile vehicles is provided in the Civic Plaza East garage located on the southwest corner of 7th and Washington streets.

Pets other than registered assisted living animals are not allowed in the Center. Proof of registration may be required.

The Center is open seven days a week from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. The Center is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Administrative Offices are open weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m
