Cochise Cowboy Poetry & Music Gathering - Sierra Vista, Arizona

This gathering of talented poets and musicians continue the tradion of the honoring of the old west.  There are musicians, storytellers and musical groups who represent the best of the Western states sharing their talent with the over 5000 people that attend this gathering in Sierra Vista the first part of February.

This is truly a family affair.  Youth will enjoy it as much as the adults do so bring the whole family.  The Land of Legends, a remarkable high desert environ where Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns, Ramsey Canyon Nature Preserve, San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area, and Douglas (the gateway to Mexico) all await you to provide the wonderful hospitality and warmth of the Southwest.

Free Saturday programs enthrall the audience with a viariety of Western stories, songs and poems.  The youth of the community are deeply involved in the gathering and the schools spend time prior to the date teaching the students of the history of the era.
