Listed on the National Register of Historic Places the Sanguinetti House Museum was constructed in the 1870’s, and was purchased in 1890 by pioneer merchant E.F. This depot was used by the US Army to store and distribute supplies for all the military posts in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and Texas.  A six month supply of clothing, food, ammunition, and other goods was kept at the depot at all times.  These supplies were brought in from California where it was transferred to river steamers that came up the Colorado River to Yuma. The park includes the Territorial Prison, built in 1876, which includes the cells, the guard tower and main gate, the museum, gift shop and video room, as well as restrooms and picnic areas. The town takes its name from a rock formation on the river, called Bull’s Head Rock. The townsfolk enjoy an active calendar of events, including the monthly Art in the Park meeting that takes place in the Community Park.
